TOURS

Day 1: Trujillo arrival

Assistance at the moment of their arrival in Trujillo, transfer to the selected hotel.

PM.  City Tour starts visiting the Main Square, the biggest of the Republic, then it continues with the “Santo Domingo Church”, ”Casa Mayorazgo”, “Casa Bracamonte”, “Casa Emancipaciòn”, “Casa Calonge”, “Palacio Iturregui”, el Recreo passage and the old wall of the City.

Day 2: Chan Chan + Huanchaco (B) (L)

After breakfast, there is an excursion to the biggest archaeological mud center of America pre-Columbian, Chan  Chan visiting to Arco Iris templo or Huaca del Museo de Sitio, Palacio Tshudi, finishing in the fountain of Huanchaco located to 12 km. In the Traditional Port is found the very famous “Caballitos de Totora”. They are very weak pre-Inca boats in which the “Huanchaqueros” ride even over the sea to go fishing.

 Day 3: Sun and Moon Temple (B)

15 minutes of excursion to the south of Trujillo in order to visit the huge mud constructions made by Mochica culture in the Fifth Century. They are called “Templo del Sol”, it was considered the biggest mud pyramid in Peru. In addition, “Templo de la Luna” shows elegant full-color murals in which its gods are shown.

Both of them were the religious centers in Moche culture. (S. II – VII).

PM. Trujillo – Chiclayo: bus

After lunch, there is a transfer to the bus station in order to aboard a bus which goes to Chiclayo. (2 hours and 30 minutes aprox). Arrival, assistance and transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 4: Tucume +  Museo Tumbas Reales del Señor de Sipan (D)

It starts to Tucume to visit its archeological center, very famous for its pyramids and roofs which surround in a radial form the magic mountain, traditionally called as “Purgatorio o la Raya”.

It can be seen from 24 to 26 piramids which cover an area of 49 km2, among them Huaca las Estacas, Mirador etc,. The great advance developed in fishing, trading and agricultural activities.

In addition, we are going to transfer to Lambayeque to visit the new and modern”Museo Tumbas reales de Sipan”, it has 10 exhibition rooms along its way in which it can be seen the Lord Sipan`s treasures and the great collection of gold, silver and copper objects.

Then, we can see the San Pedro Church, the largest Peru`s balcony (La casa de la Logia), we are going to visit la Plaza de Armas.

Day 5: Chiclayo – Huaca Rajada

After breakfast, we`re going to the archeological zone of Huaza Rajada 33 km to East of Chiclayo and 2km of the Pueblo de Sipan in which it was found the principal character`s untouched tumb that`s why it is named El Señor de Sipan (moche 200 to 700 A.C) his majestic ornaments and his highest degree of techonological development in his goldsmith work made him be considered as the most important discovery of the century.

We are visiting the Museo de Sitio and explored excavations.
